India's first Private Train Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express
Railways proceeding with its 100-day plan of
delivering activities of two of its trains to the non-public sector, the
Delhi-Lucknow Tejas express would be the primary train to be operated by
Non-public Sector.
The Railway Board is mulling on a second such
route that too would be among the 500-km distance range. The custody of the
trains is going to be transferred to the Indian Railway catering and touristry
Corporation (IRCTC), which is able to procure it, as well as their lease
charges, to the finance arm, IRFC.
The Tejas express can provide premium
administrations and solaces to the travelers.
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal told Lok Sabha
that there's no proposal to privatize Indian Railways. In a composed answer,
the minister expressed that no particular traveler train has been distinguished
to be controlled by private administrators.
